Privacy Policy

How this website handles visitor information.

Effective August 2026

Summary

This website is a single informational page. It has no accounts, no contact form, and no database. Two things happen here: the site measures visits using Google Analytics, and visitors may choose to contact the practice by email. Nothing else is collected.

Analytics & Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics 4, a measurement service provided by Google LLC, to understand how the site is found and used. Google Analytics sets cookies in the visitor's browser and collects information including pages viewed, time spent on the page, referring website or search engine, approximate geographic location, and general device and browser characteristics.

Google Analytics 4 uses IP addresses to derive approximate location and does not log or store IP addresses in the ordinary course. Analytics data is processed by Google on this practice's behalf and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. This practice uses that data only in aggregate, to understand overall traffic patterns. It is not used to identify individual visitors, and it is not combined with any engagement or client information.

Declining Analytics

Analytics cookies can be blocked or deleted through browser settings, and most browsers offer a private or incognito mode that discards them at the end of a session. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts out of Google Analytics across all sites. Declining analytics does not affect access to any part of this website.

Email Correspondence

The only information this practice receives directly is what a visitor voluntarily sends by email — typically a name, organisation, contact details, and the substance of the enquiry. That correspondence is used solely to respond and, where relevant, to discuss a potential engagement and run a conflict check. It is not sold, rented, licensed, or shared with third parties for marketing or any other commercial purpose, except where disclosure is required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

Confidentiality of Engagement Discussions

Matter-related information shared in the course of an engagement discussion, whether by email, telephone, or otherwise, is treated as confidential in accordance with the professional and contractual terms agreed with the client or instructing counsel. That confidentiality commitment is separate from, and broader than, this general website privacy policy, which addresses only the website itself.

Retention

Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics and is subject to Google's own deletion practices. Email correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to respond to the enquiry, to administer any resulting engagement, and to meet professional record-keeping obligations.

Your Rights

Depending on where a visitor is located, applicable data protection law may provide rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held about them, and to object to certain processing. Requests may be sent to info@beriwalresearch.com and will be addressed in accordance with applicable law.

Third-Party Links

This site links to external destinations, including LinkedIn and Google. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices and terms, which are outside the control of this practice. Visitors should review the privacy policy of any external site before providing information to it.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in how this website operates. The effective date above will be revised when changes are made.
